A work-in-progress showcase of the full length performance entitled Reminiscence : The Word of The Strange Tales. Choreographed by renowned Butoh Master Yukio Waguri from Japan – which combined Butoh, contemporary, and traditional dance vocabularies – in collaboration with Japanese and Malaysian dancers of various disciplines. The creation is based on the early Qing Dynasty legendary Chinese supernatural stories –The Strange Tales (聊齋志異) written by Pu Song Ling. The full-length feature is scheduled to be performed at Penang and Kuala Lumpur in 2014. Performers: Yukio Waguri, Yukio Waguri, Moemi Yahagi, Rina Sakiyama
